Set some boundaries!

Stop right there. Let's talk about boundaries! 

One of the most frequent questions I get from clients is: “How can I set boundaries so that I can have more time to do the things I need and want to do?” And it's a good question because the reality is, every person you know struggles with this issue. 

We all need space to be successful. but that means setting boundaries so that we can say no to certain things so that we can say yes to ourselves.

Specifically, there's four boundaries I'm going to invite you to consider setting today: time, relationships, communication and personal standards. Ask yourself these questions: 

  • Time - Where are you spending your time and where are you not?

  • Relationships - Whose company are you keeping and is it fulfilling you?

  • Communication - How do you allow others to interact with you? Their words, their mode, their tone?

  • Personal Standards - What are you not allowing yourself or what are you tolerating for your health and well being.

Think about these questions.

If you were to ask yourself these questions on a daily basis, would you be happy with the answers?

Are you happy with the answers today?

As you move through today, stay present and get curious about your actions:

  • Does doing this fulfill me?

  • How much of it do I want or need?

  • Is there an alternative I’m not allowing myself to have?

The answers will guide and empower you to do what's right for you.

Set your boundaries today and let them elevate you, your relationships and your goals.
